Below is a 10-step guide on how to present a claim for replacement of Pathfinder Battles miniatures through WizKids.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I get the same miniature back that I send to WizKids?
It is not guaranteed. Wizkids does make an effort to first replace the miniatures you return to them with the exact same miniatures. Since the Pathfinder Battles miniatures are made in limited quantity, in time WizKids will no longer have any inventory of replacement miniatures. Should this happen, then they will try to replace the miniature with a similar type of miniature (same rarity of the same set). If Wizkids does not have a miniature of the same rarity from the same set, then they will provide you with one of the same rarity from a different set (usually from the next released set).

Who pays the shipping costs to return the item?
You will need to pay the shipping cost to send the defective miniatures back to them. They will pay the cost to send the replacement miniatures to you.

How should I package the miniatues to them?
The defective miniatures and any broken parts should all be returned to WizKids. They do not need to be returned in their original packaging. Regardless of how you plan to ship the minatures, it is recommended that you enclose them in some sort of container that will keep all the pieces together (i.e. a clear plastic sandwich bag). Since the returned miniatures are discarded, some customers have further compacted the miniatures (i.e. removed them from their bases) to help them fit into the cheapest shipping container (i.e. a bubble wrap envelope).

Why must I return the miniatures?
To ensure that people do not present false claims, the miniatures must be sent to Wizkids to essentially prove the nature of your defective product claim. All of the Pathfinder Battles miniatures are collectable and produced in limited quantities. Each miniature has a market value that varies on its popularity and rarity. This policy helps to keep a level of integrity in these collectable sets, which helps to support the market value of the miniatures.
